Born in Zagreb, Croatia. Graduated information sciences and the English language and literature at the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. During the study, his interest were related to use of information and communication technology in libraries. After graduation, employed at the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities in Zagreb where he works today. In 1999. he received masters degree in the field of social sciences with the topic in digital libraries. In 2003 he received Ph.D. at the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities in Zagreb. He is currently working at the Department for information and communication sciences at the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities in Zagreb, where he is currently holding a position of full professor. His principal interests are: digital libraries, digital repositories, research data, user studies, scientific communication, library management, and internet technologies in libraries.
