Alen Vodopijevec

Alen Vodopijevec obtained his diploma in 2003 at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and currently is a PhD student at the same Faculty. His career started in 2002 at the University Computing Center in Zagreb where he became skilled in information technologies. He is working at the Centre for Scientific Information at the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb. As the Head of the Information Technologies Section, he is involved in the planning and development of the institutional and national CRIS based on Open Science services. His expertise is also in interoperability issues (OpenAIRE Advance and DABAR repositories) and research data management workflow and processes (CESSDA Eric projects). Alen’s skills and specialisation include information systems, database and computer networks administration, software architecture and programming.
