How to get to Zadar?

For all participants who will be arriving to Zadar by plane, please note that there is a bus line from the Zadar airport to the city centre operated by Liburnija bus. You can find the timetable here.

If you would like to take a taxi instead, they can be found in front of the airport. The taxi fare should not be higher than 20-25 euros.

✈ By plane

The closest airport is Zadar Airport, but the one with the most frequent air traffic is Franjo Tuđman Airport in Zagreb. If you are arriving to Zagreb Airport, the easiest way to get to Zadar is by bus.

Zadar can also be reached through other airports in neighbouring countries such as Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, Slovenia or Trieste Airport, Italy.

🚌 By bus

You can take bus lines from Zagreb or from other cities. For information on international and domestic bus lines visit AKZ, Arriva or Flixbus, and for local lines from Zadar Airport to the city of Zadar visit Liburnija

🚗 By car

Highway A1 to junction Zadar1 from Zagreb or to junction Zadar2 from Split, and then follow the state road to Zadar.
